SEMRush has a new AI product called ContentShake A1. This product isn't bad as it will suggest optics to write about . title tags and meta descriptions. Not only that but it can write a 2000 word article for you and even pull in pictures while its writing . Now the trial versions give you 3 free article writes a month at the time of this writing.

I did find this tool quite useful but as I read the writings while they were better than some other AI content I've seen it still was very repetitive and some of it didn't make sense. Still this is a great tool to get content for a topic and then rewrite it or edited it. I wouldn't just post the rewritten article out there without rewriting it or editing it first.

You Title tag is one of the first things Google sees and also the person who may click on your website. A poorly made Title not only impacts ranking for certain keywords but also can affect the click through rate to your webpage. This also impacts your search ranking as poor click through rank in terms of how Google sees it means your website isn't relevant to the people seeing it. Thus in turn you get move lower in the search results.

The bottom is don't forget to make sure your Title tags are optimized and also don't forget to fill out your meta description as that is super important too. Most people in the SEO realm say that meta keywords sections doesn't help your SEO. One of the most important factors in SEO but often forgotten is website speed / load time. Now lets look at why this is so important and how you can improve your website speed and find some tools to see how your website rank.

First point is you should want a fast website even if it isn't a ranking factor. We live in a fast pace society today and if your website isn't loading fast then your losing business. Have you ever gone to a website and it takes too long to load and you hit the back button? I know I have and if your website takes more than 3 seconds to display your losing potential customers. Now several studies vary on how many customers you lose. One study says any website past 3 second load time loses 40% of the people that click on it. Another one says you start losing 10% per second your website takes to load past 2 seconds.

Now lets go to the Next Point

Google Announce several years ago that speed was now a SEO ranking factor and there is a good reason as you read above. They want people to continue using Google and slow webpages make people leave the site. This signals Google that your website is not relevant to your search. This is especially important on mobile devices.

What causes a website to be slow?

There are many things that can cause your website to be slow. Here are some most common ones but it can be many different things.

Why checking your word count is important!

Have you ever wonder why your web page is not ranking well and couldn't figure it out? You have good domain authority and Page Authority but that first page position seems to be just beyond reach. You might need to check your word count on your page.

The average page that ranks no 1 on Google has on average over 2600 words in it. I've seen some pages rank good with less but when you look at there overall site they have a huge amount of words. Some are posting new blogs all the time and are consistently adding content. So if your having trouble getting a web page to rank maybe its time to check out the top 5 ranking pages and look at their word count. Does your exceed theirs? Is it written better etc.

There are several ways to check the word count on a page. One you could copy and paste it into word document. Two you could count it yourself LOL ��. Three you could use one of several page counting tools all over the internet like https://wordcounter.net/website-word-count

Having trouble ranking on a large website that’s been around a while? Have you check your backlinks to see if any of them are spammy links. The chances are if your domain is more than 5 years old you probably have some bad backlinks that could be causing you ranking problems. There are some free checkers like https://moz.com/link-explorer that will give you at least an idea if you have a backlink spam problem. You most likely will have to pay a little money at least for a month to get a really good list and see which backlinks are toxic to your site. I’ve seen clients traffic greatly increase after they disavow the spammy links. Just make sure you know what you’re doing or you can actually hurt your ranking if you do it wrong.
