These days we have entered the age of Artificial Intelligence (also known as AI), where computers can make content based on a vast number of resources given to them. The potential is great! Anywhere from making content, creating meta tags, creating legal documents, and the list goes on. The question is will Chat GBT replace content writers such as SEO specialists? This is a complicated answer, but the short answer is no.

An experience SEO specialist is going to understand more about ranking factors than a computer that is programmed. SEO specialists know what has worked in the past and how to identify trends, algorithm changes, and other SEO impacts. They tend to have knowledge that isn’t just readily available on the internet, such as provided by Chat GPT which just looks at and mimics internet content.

Should I Use Chat GBT for Content Writing?

While Chat GBT can write articles that appear to be good content on the surface, there have been numerous reports that it’s riddled with problems. Anywhere from citing the wrong sources to giving the wrong information. Plus, it can often contain straight-out plagiarism. Google has adjusted its search engine algorithm to target AI-generated content. AI-generated content usually ranks low or not at all.

The conclusion is while Chat GBT might be a great tool to help you with several tasks, it doesn’t replace a human. Artificial Intelligence is just that—fake intelligence. We should make sure that we don’t allow Artificial Intelligence to replace ACTUAL Intelligence. 

It can be used as an additional tool but make sure you check it for accuracy. Chat GBT can be used for recommendations and suggestions, but remember that your brain is the most powerful computer that was ever invented. So, use your brain first and use Chat GBT to aid you in doing things more quickly.

The Future of Chat GBT

Regulators are rushing to put limits and restraints on this technology as it is causing all sorts of problems. Chat GBT has no way of ensuring that the sources of information are reliable. It seems to come up with references and ideas, though it doesn’t always make sense. Perhaps they will eventually put some sort of regulation on Chat GBT at some point, which might probably open the door to a more regulated internet.

For the time being, Chat GBT isn’t changing SEO, but there is no telling what things will look like in 10 years or even 5 years from now. Remember a seasoned SEO specialist has been around and understands the SEO world, plus they have gone through several algorithm changes. These people will be the best at coming up with a marketing strategy in the future, no matter what that looks like.
